St John College of health science is a private Health college located in Mbeya City Council, the college was founded in the year of 2013s with one program of  nursing and midwifery.

In 2015 the college was Full registered by National council of technical and Vocational Educational Education and Training (NACTVET) and been successfully adding other health programs i.e. Pharmaceutical science and Clinical medicine, and now St John College of Health science is a Full Accredited institute from National council for technical and Vocational  Education and Training (NACTVET).

In 2022 the college has been successfully adding other health programs i.e. Health information Science  and Social Work, and now St John College of Health science is Offering five Program
